Shri K.R. Jyothilal IAS, a 1993 batch IAS officer is currently Principal Secretary, General Administration, Forest & Wildlife and Power Department. Armed with a B Tech from IIT Madras and MBA from ICFAI. Mr. Jyothilal has earlier been the Collector of Trivandrum and Kannur, and held portfolios in IT, Transport, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Food and Civil Supplies, GAD, Tourism, Parliamentary Affairs, Ports, Aviation, Taxes (Excise), Revenue (Devaswom), I&PRD, Printing & Stationery, Sainik Welfare Department etc. He has been instrumental in projects related to hitech agriculture, Smart City Kochi, KMRL, KMTA, Kannur airport, e-mobility and hydrogen economy etc.
