Pratibha Sharma is Professor in the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Her research interest includes materials for photovoltaic applications, solid state hydrogen storage, materials and systems for hydrogen storage and hydrogen utilization.

Prof. Pratibha Sharma is leading several projects on hydrogen many of those are multi-institutional, where several other institutions and industries are involved. A whole range of materials ranging from metal hydrides to complex and chemical hydrides, catalysis and support materials are being studied in the group. Among systems studies; simulation, design, fabrication and performance analysis of metal hydride based beds considering the thermal management issues are being carried.
